SAYL Wins Product Of The Year

Herman Miller’s SAYL chair has won Product of the Year at the Mixology North Awards in Manchester on Thursday 17th November 2011.

Held at the Palace Hotel, the Winter Ball and Awards, run by Mix Interiors magazine, celebrates the originality, innovation, form and commercial success of projects and products presented by leading industry designers, architects and product manufacturers.

Judged by a truly independent panel of experts made up of key players from the interiors industry, including prominent architects and design consultants, this year’s event saw projects and products nominated in just eight categories.

SAYL won ‘Product of the Year – Furniture’, beating entries from across the industry, in this broad and highly competitive category.

With strong considerations being given for ‘sustainability, innovation, design originality, aesthetics and commercial viability’, SAYL was set from the outset to be a contender for the trophy.
