Seminar success in LNDC
The Herman Miller Insight Group recently held the ‘How to create a great place to work’ seminar in the National Design Centre, London (LNDC),
with attendees from companies such as The Gartner Group, GE, Akzo Nobel, CBRE, Deloitte and Exxon.
This interactive session broke attendees up into 8 groups, with each group led by a Herman Miller representative,
to examine workplace issues such as the positives and negatives of technology,
which key individuals need to get engaged with projects, and what do people miss about the ‘old ways of working’.
Each team then presented their thoughts on each of these issues, how they affect the workplace,
and what can be done to counter them in order to create great places to work.
Attendees showed a great level of interest and enthusiasm for the seminar and the workshop sessions showing the value of holding these events in locations such as LNDC.
The next Insight Group seminar will be held in London on the 4th September entitled ‘The Psychology of Collaboration’,
